Frequently Asked Questions for USAFALocator.com

I don't have a username or password. How can I get one?

Currently, we are only hosting for the Class of 1998. If you are from '98 and did not receive an e-mail from us, use our "First Use" validator to get your information sent out. If you did get an e-mail from us, your login information is included in that message.

I lost the e-mail from you. Can I still get a username and password?

Yep. Just use the validator to get your information.

I changed my name - how can I update my record?

For females who have changed their name because of marriage, just click the "Update Your Info" link after logging in. There is an entry for "Married Name" - enter your new last name, and be sure to check the "Married?" box lower on the page. You'll see how it will look after clicking the "Preview" button, and the changes will be entered into the database after you "Accept" them.
For any other name change, just drop an e-mail to ugl-admin@usafalocator.com and let us know. Since this is an unusual situation, we don't have the option to make this change on the Update page. Most changes will be done within a day or so.

My major/squadron is wrong - where can I get that fixed?

Oops! In loading over 950 people's information, some mistakes are bound to be made. We apologize for the hassle, and if you send an e-mail to ugl-admin@usafalocator.com with what needs to be changed, we'll take care of it right away.

Can I buy your lists of E-mail addresses, phone numbers, etc?

NEVER. Period. We will never release any information to any third parties unless specifically authorized to do so by the person whose information it is. This includes everything in our database. Additionally, we will not act as the middle party to those who want to get in touch with our users.

I'm looking for (so-and-so). Can you help me?

Sorry, we don't give out any more information than you can get yourself. That means that if you are eligible for a username and password (i.e. Class of 1998 graduate), you can see all the information we have. If you are not a Class of 1998 graduate, you can't get any more than you can see from the locator page. ANY E-MAIL REQUESTS FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT RESPONSE.
As an alternative, you might want to post a message in our forum with the details - who you are looking for, who you are, and your e-mail address. You can do this without logging in, too.

I'm not an Academy grad, but I would like a login for your site. Can I do this?

Not yet. We may offer logins at a later date, but for now, they are just for grads. (And for now, just for the class of 1998.) drop us an e-mail for more on this.

How can my class get listed on your site?

For the time being, we are only using the site with the class of 1998's userbase. We do, however, have definite plans to expand the site to include as many classes as possible. This may include charging users for their use of the site, but we have no plans to make this a recurring fee. This means that we hope to keep any fees for lifetime use of this site. We're still exploring all of options, so if you have any inputs or specific questions, please get in touch with us and we'll help you out.

I think someone else is using my account/profile. What should I do?

Get in touch with the site administrators IMMEDIATELY. The sooner you let us know something might be wrong, the sooner we can fix the problem. Please include a telephone number in your e-mail so we can talk directly to you, rather than play e-mail tag.
